Spend a week overlooking Lake Atitlan, surrounded by volcanoes and a lush natural landscape in Guatemala.
Guatemala is a land of vibrant life, filled with lush vegetation and active volcanoes. This retreat is intended to give you a full immersion of Mayan culture & Guatemalan nature.
Practice yoga surrounded by sacred nature, fresh open air and lake views as we move, breath & connect with ourselves and the culture of Guatemala.
We will begin each morning with a grounding all levels vinyasa yoga class. There will also be a few self development workshops throughout the week.
You do not need to have any experience practicing yoga to attend a yoga retreat. Practicing on retreat is a great way to learn more about yoga in a fun and approachable environment with classes geared towards people of all levels and yoga experience.
Our retreat will be hosted at Villa Sumaya - a retreat and wellness center located in Santa Cruz la Laguna, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.
Majestically located on the shores of Lake Atitlan, this retreat oasis has a dock for sitting along the shore as well as a pool overlooking the waters. There is also a hot tub, sauna & massage therapies.
Each of the rooms provide a lake view & breeze of the area. The rooms are spread throughout the property in cabins & houses with private rooms. Each room also have a private bathroom.
