YOGA:
Yoga and meditation are practiced in a beautiful light filled yoga shala surrounded by views of mountains and nature. With expansive windows onto views of the forest canopy, this space allows the walls to fall away, and for nature to become part of your experience.
Yoga will be practiced daily along with a couple self empowerment workshops.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
We will be staying at the edge of Jasper National Park at Northhaven. Here, lofted into the forest canopy, their goal is to thread the delicate balance of being both in the forest, while providing all the comforts and necessities of an indoor space.
Each of their single rooms is a study in bringing you not only back to nature, but the nature in you. For this purpose, we looked to a technique used in permaculture, which blocks out unwanted inputs while creating conditions optimal for one's goals.
All rooms are singles with your own personal bathroom.
If you prefer a matrimonial room with a partner, we can book a cabin at their sister property for $200 more/night.
MEALS:
Our retreat menu is vegetarian and we have a wonderful chef joining us for the week who will prepare breakfast and a packed lunch daily.
We have two dinners that will be served at Stone Peak Restaurant-- with panoramic views of Jasper National Park featuring elegant, farm-to-table dining that highlights the natural flavors.
There will also be freedom to have two dinners on your own. Right across the street from our retreat center is Folding Mountain Brewing-- an upscale-casual restaurant. You may also eat in town or in the park as well.
ACTIVITIES:
We will spend our late mornings and afternoons inside Jasper National Park hiking, exploring, wildlife spotting, canoeing glacier lakes, and more.
