Wine and yoga lovers will find themselves in heaven during this 7-night retreat filled with stretching and swirling in the heart of Tuscany, Italy with a trip to the renowned, Cinque Terre.

Experience Italy the way it was meant to be enjoyed — sipping on wine from local vineyards, eating handmade pasta, and taking day trips to the coast.

Yoga and meditation are practiced in a beautiful light filled yoga studio with wooden beams and terracotta floors. It is fully equipped with Manduka quality 6mm yoga mats, blankets, round bolsters, rectangular bolsters, yoga straps and blocks.

There are also several grassed terraces & gardens for sunrise and sunset yoga sessions. With views overlooking the forest and olive groves, one can fully savor the serenity of the Tuscan countryside.

Villa Tramonte retreat center offers the warmth & intimacy of an elegant Tuscan villa in a secluded setting. The fully restored 18th Century estate is surrounded by natural woodlands and overlooks a panorama of olive groves and fruit trees.  With 10 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms our retreat center is ideal for retreat groups of up to 20 people.

The property has been decorated elegantly in classic Tuscan style. With plenty of outdoor tables to eat al fresco, the villa boasts beautiful, landscaped gardens, a swimming pool, a dedicated yoga studio and an outdoor grassed area for practicing yoga.  The estate produces its own fine quality cold pressed oil and seasonal fruit and vegetables.

There is a lovely swimming pool located away from the villa where retreat guests can cool down after long hikes or simply relax whilst soaking up the tranquility.

Ideally located 15 minutes from Lucca, 45 minutes from Pisa, 1.5 hrs from Florence and 1.5 hrs from the breathtaking Cinque Terre region, Villa Tramonte offers an opportunity to truly relax and unwind in a unique location whilst offering the perfect base to explore Tuscany and Liguria.

Our retreat menu is vegetarian and we have a wonderful local cook who prepares deliciously fresh dishes based on what is in season and the region’s specialties.  As we are in Tuscany, we do indulge in local cheeses, pasta, breads, wines and other delights, so although our menu is not a strict cleanse, we do offer plenty of healthy choices with nuts, seeds, legumes, plenty of vegetables and salads, rice, amaranth, quinoa, buckwheat, fresh fruit and yogurt.

We source our food from local producers and wherever possible, we use organic grains, fruit and vegetables. We also make our own fresh fruit and vegetable juices every morning and offer cleansing herbal teas. Organic wine, olive oil and honey are produced in the surrounding agricultural area and served during our retreats.

Guests are free to help themselves to fresh fruit, water and herbal teas every day.

We have two day-trips and one evening outing planned. However, everything is optional giving you the flexibility to adapt the week to your own individual needs. We have a bike and walking tour of charming nearby Lucca early in the week, guided by an equally charming guide who has a deep family history in Lucca. We will tour a local winery and have a tasting. Mid-week we have an all-day excursion to sensational Cinque Terre (the Five Lands), beautiful, vividly colored villages located on cliffs overlooking the Ligurian Sea. And on our night out we will enjoy sunset aperitivo in the Apuan Alps and then stop in Pietrasanta for a few hours to enjoy wandering the streets of this colourful artists village.

There will also be plenty of free time to explore or relax “Under the Tuscan Sun,” poolside at the Villa, or on a hike.

What People Are Saying:

I went into this trip as simply a vacation to see old friends and do some physical activity in a new country, but after connecting with others, I left with lasting friendships and a new appreciation for relationships outside of the retreat. I was able to have more clarity in my daily life. AND I just had a lot of fun

I've never left a retreat feeling so full of positive energy, and so refreshed. I learned so much about Peruvian culture and feel that I grew so much as a person. This retreat changed me, and I will never forget the amazing people and experiences we had together. It was the perfect mix of exploring, adventure, and spiritual growth and reflection.

Jenn S

I came to Peru stressed and anxious from work load and active life style. The gardens relaxed me instantly, the Yoga / meditation released toxins and muscle knots, and the Conversations connected me with others. The simply amazing meals provided pure energy to enjoy daily adventures. Gorgeous view of historic sites and nature also connected me back to the Divine. Meditation and the entire program brought out the Best version of Me: Calm , peaceful , content , grateful , compassionate loving, kind and Oneness!

What an incredible experience! There was nothing that I personally had to do. (How amazing!) The rides, the meals, the classes, and every activity was planned to perfection. It felt like our group had known each other for years. We laughed until we cried, and cried because we got to go deep and share super vulnerable life experiences. It was so amazing to be around such adventurous, easy going and like minded people. I cannot wait for the next adventure!

Lindsay & Caroline inspire the peace and power within you as you challenge yourself through new experiences as you immerse yourself in different cultures than your own. You leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and with unbridled energy to be the best person you can be…on and off your mat. And you may also pick up a few new skills surfing, whitewater rafting, hiking, ATV-ing or trying a head or hand stand with a little help from your few life-long friends. Truly life-changing. I promise you.
